Full Day Exploration Lake trip
Place : Rachaprapha Lake, Khao Sok national park
Duration : 08.30 - 18.00 Hrs. / Daily
Highlight : To explore a lake in the jungle by local boat. the lake is surrounded by Limestone Mountains and cliffs covered in tropical rainforest that rise up from the shore of the lake and disappear into the far distance. The scenery has been compared to Guilin in China or Halong Bay in Vietnam. Few people know of the lake and even less has visited it. There are ove on hundred islands in the lake and it over 60 km from north to south. In the 70's the area was a hide out for communists and students opposing the military dictatorship.
Activities : Jungle trekking through Tham Nam Ta Lu (Water Cave)
: Relaxing, Swimming and kayaking at the raft house
What to bring : Swimming suite, towel, sun protaction, hat an san glasses, water proof, bag insects repellant, one set of dry cloth
*** Advisable to wear sandals with straps, shorts and a T-shirt. Trainning shoes are also ok. The trails are easy going and you will get wet.***
